Hira Verick Hira Verick has created, developed and communicated successful brands, products and concepts in Australia, UK, Scandinavia and globally. He has lectured at Oxford Brookes University, Stockholm University School of Business and The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm. In Oxford Hira founded a vibrant agency that pioneered digital brand and design creation, working closely with Oxford University over a five-year period. Hira was a Visiting Lecturer (and member of faculty) at Oxford Brookes University for two years. Hira has co-authored published papers & articles including: 'Risk management in Indian venture capital and private equity firms: A comparative study' for The Thunderbird International Business Review, 2005; and 'Strategic brand management decision: the case of Sony Ericsson Walkman' for Strategic Direction, 2008. At the end of 2008 Hira finished a four-year tenure with Sony Ericsson as global Creative Director, the company’s most senior in-house creative for global product and portfolio conceptualization (creation, development, launch, marketing and advertising). Sony Ericsson grew to be a €10 billion global company (independent of its parents Sony, of Japan and Ericsson, of Sweden). Working closely with brands in Scandinavia, the UK and the US, Hira is now developing consumer brands by creating solutions, lifestyles, and movements.
