February 2008 Small people. Big company There appears to be a correlation (of course others have theorized this before) between innovation and low workforce count. Relatively high market capitalization (to peers) is often matched with small-ish head count. Can we assume innovation is higher in these firms? And, that the potential long-term brand value is higher?
